All Abilities Kids & Teens Music & Movement

October 5, 2019

Join us for our next All Abilities Kids and Teens Music & Movement from 1-2pm on Saturday, October 5th.

This program is designed for children and teens who have intellectual, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. At All Abilities Kids music & Movement, we stretch, sing, dance and wiggle with live musical accompaniment. Every All Abilities Kids program uses a visual schedule so participants can track our activities.

At Red Hook Public Library, we believe caregivers and parents are the best judges of a child or teen’s interests and abilities; thus, the only age restriction is that participants must be under 18 years. Space is limited, so registration is required. All Abilities Kids programs take place in our third-floor Community Room which offers a quiet environmental with reduced sensory stimuli.  If you’ve been hesitant to try library programs with your child, give All Abilities Kids a try.

If your child or family would benefit from visiting the library and the program space at a time prior to the program, please contact Amy. She will happily arrange a time for your family to experience the space and the materials when no one else is present.
