Teen Leaders Council Meeting @Red Hook Community Center

September 27, 2017

Having just run their first event, a very successful Water Games, a day of balloons, water launchers, trivia and slip’n’sliding, the Red Hook Teen Leaders Council is recruiting for their next big event.  With support from the Community Center and Red Hook Public Library, the council is a group of empowered teenagers tasked with developing and executing community-focused programs.  Their next big project: run a “haunted house” style spectral mystery in conjunction with the library’s Monster Mash in October.

Teens looking for community service hours, who have a vision for a program or event they’d like to make a reality, or who want to learn valuable leadership skills are encouraged to apply for council membership by attending a meeting, inquiring at the library, or emailing M our Youth Services Coordinator at: youthservices@redhooklibrary.org.

Council meetings are held on alternating Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Red Hook Community Center. The next meeting dates are September 13th and September 27th.
