Do you have a sewing machine hidden deep in the closet? Or, maybe you don’t own a machine, but would love to learn how to use one.  This fall, Red Hook Public Library is offering a series of instructive workshops for adults aged 16+ from 10:30 AM until noon on Saturdays September 23rd, 30th, and October 7th.  

For the first session on Saturday, Sept 23,  you’ll get reacquainted with your machine, or try one of the library’s, while making a standard pillowcase. Subsequent sessions will continue to develop practical skills. Registration is required; but participants do not have to attend all three sessions. Fabric and notions will be provided.
