Half Day STEAM: Lava Day/Geology Science

December 29, 2017

Students in grades K-5 will be arriving at Red Hook Public Library for an afternoon of explosive fun from 1:30-3:00 PM on Friday, December 29th. Focused on geology and Earth Science, the library’s Lava Day will have participants building working models of fault lines and volcanic eruptions, simulating the mineral history of the planet, and playing a more factual version of “The Floor Is Lava” than usually imagined.

As with all library events, Lava Day is free and open to the public. However since space is limited, registration is required.  Interested families can sign up in person at the library or over the phone at 845-758-3241.
