All Abilities Kids: Music and Movement

January 27, 2018

Red Hook Public Library’s All Abilities Kids series of programs is adding a new dimension for January: music & movement! Our first session will be Saturday, Jan 27 starting at 1pm in the library’s Community Room. We will get together to enjoy simple movement exercise to rhythms and music with some singing and music-making too.

As parents and caregivers are the best judges of their children’s interests and abilities, All Abilities Kids has no age restrictions. Space is limited, so registration is required.  The third-floor Community Room offers a quiet environment with reduced sensory stimuli and Saturday afternoons are a quiet time in the library in general in case families would like to browse new items together and check out some books or movies.

This program is free and open to the public. We request that  every child have a parent or caregiver in attendance; for older participants, having a parent or caregiver in the building is fine.  If you’ve been hesitant to try library programs with your child, give All Abilities Kids a try.  For more information or to ask questions, ask to speak to Amy when you call the library at 845-758-3241.
