Red Hook Teen Leaders Council is recruiting!  With support from the Community Center and Red Hook Public Library, the Teen Leaders Council is a group of empowered teenagers focused on developing and executing community-focused programs. The Council is now meeting weekly on Wednesday nights at 5:45pm.  Their next big project has yet to be determined however current ideas include community-service based projects honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Interested new teen recruits are invited to jump right in with ideas!

Teens looking for community service hours, who have a vision for a program or event they’d like to make a reality, or who want to learn valuable leadership skills are encouraged to apply for council membership by attending a meeting, inquiring at the library, or emailing youthservices@redhooklibrary.org.  Council meetings will be held from 5:45 to 6:45 PM on Wednesdays, January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st at the Red Hook Community Center.
