'Red Hook Makes' Makerspace at Red Hook High School

February 2, 2018

Red Hook teens interested in making cool things are invited to “Red Hook Makes,” an after-school makerspace at Red Hook High School Library. Red Hook Public Library and Red Hook High School Library collaborate to provide fresh projects for students interested tinkering, invention, and making. The makerspace meets at 2:15 PM every other Friday with upcoming sessions scheduled for January 19th, February 2nd, and February 16th.

The makerspace is open to all teens; they need not be a student of Red Hook High School. This semester’s projects include coffee cozies, CD dreamcatchers, button making, 3D printing, and more. We try something new every session! This program is free and open to all teens. No registration necessary. Call 845-758-3241 for more information, or speak to High School Librarian Mrs. Sasvary at Red Hook High School Library.
