All Abilities Kids Science

February 6, 2018

Red Hook Public Library is excited about our new program: All Abilities Kids Science.  The first session begins at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 6th in the library’s Community Room, a quiet environment with reduced sensory stimuli.

As parents and caregivers are the best judges of their children’s interests and abilities, All Abilities Kids has no age restrictions.  All Abilities Kids Science is designed to make scientific experimentation and discovery accessible to children with neurodevelopmental difficulty and/or cognitive disabilities; the material is presented at a mid-elementary-school level.

This program is free and open to the public with advanced registration required as space is limited. Every participant must have a parent or caregiver in attendance.  If you’ve been hesitant to try library programs with your child, give All Abilities Kids a try.  For more information call the library and speak to Amy: 845-758-3241.
