Preschool Storytime at Red Hook Public Library may sound a little different at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 21st. The library’s usual recipe of wiggling, reading, and crafts will add an extra ingredient: Chinese!  The story-reading portion of the hour will feature books read in both English and Chinese, exposing early readers to the sounds and structure of a new language.

At previous Storytime sessions, early readers have followed along in Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and German. A new language is featured each third Wednesday of the month.

Programs at Red Hook Public Library are free and open to the public. No registration is required for Multilingual Storytime.
