All Abilities Kids Science

March 6, 2018

All Abilities Kids Science returns at 10:30 Tuesday, March 6 in the library’s Community Room.  This program is designed to make scientific experimentation and discovery accessible to children with neurodevelopmental difficulty and/or cognitive or intellectual disabilities; the material is presented at a mid-elementary-school level, but simple adaptations can make the content accessible for lower levels as well.

As parents and caregivers are the best judges of their children’s interests and abilities, All Abilities Kids has no age restrictions other than being under 18.  This program is free and open to the public with advanced registration required as space is limited. Every participant must have a parent or caregiver in attendance.

If you’ve been hesitant to try library programs with your child, give one of the All Abilities Kids programs a try.  For more information call the library and speak to Amy: 845-758-3241.
