Apple Blossom Day & Teen Leaders Council Bake Sale

May 12, 2018

Apple Blossom Day is one of Red Hook’s most cherished annual events. As per tradition, Red Hook Public Library will get right into the spirit of it with several fun activities. From 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, May 12, look for robot wrestling, face painting, and bubble fun in the library’s front yard.

In addition this year, there are two other happenings on the lawn. The Red Hook Pop-Up Library, a collaboration between Mill Road School, the public library, and Bard College Center for Civic Engagement, will be giving out free books. And the Teen Leaders’ Council, a collaboration between the library and Red Hook Community Center, will have a bake sale to benefit the Hudson Valley LGBT Center.

As always, passersby are welcome to grab a rocking chair on the library’s front porch, relax, and just enjoy watching the world go by for awhile.
