All Abilities Kids: Science returns this fall with a new schedule: 10:30 on the second and fourth Friday of the month starting Friday, Sept 14 in the library’s Community Room.  This program is designed to make scientific experimentation and discovery accessible to children with developmental, intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities. The material is presented at a kindergarten level, but simple adaptations can make the content accessible for other levels as well.

As parents and caregivers are the best judges of their children’s interests and abilities, All Abilities Kids has no age restriction other than being under 18.  This program is free and open to the public with advanced registration required as space is limited. Every participant must have a parent or caregiver in attendance.
