General Admission Wildlife Show @RHCC

Owls, hawks and falcons, Oh My! Kids and adults alike are invited to enjoy Bill Robinson’s Birds of Prey Wildlife Show, 6 pm on Wednesday February 27th at Red Hook Community Center.  Doors will open at 5:30 pm for pre-show fun. This event is presented by Red Hook Public Library and Tivoli Free Library. As space is limited, FREE TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. Attendees may pick up tickets at either library.

Onlookers will be treated to an awe-inspiring up-close look at a variety of amazing birds of prey presented by nationally recognized wildlife expert Bill Robinson. Bill is a wildlife educator, photographer, filmmaker, and writer who has appeared on shows such as David Letterman, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. He has taught ornithology and biology at SUNY New Paltz for over ten years. Learn how these amazing creatures make their way in the wild, some of them right here in the Hudson Valley. See an owl devour a mouse, a turkey vulture show off it’s incredible wingspan, and a raptor fly just overhead!

Bring a camera, as there will be many photo opportunities. This event is free and open to all. Space is limited. Please pick up free tickets at either library! Red Hook Community Center is located at 59 Fisk Street, Red Hook, NY 12571.

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. It has been designated a five-star library by Library Journal each year since 2013. The library was chosen as a finalist for the Best Small Library in America award, given by Library Journal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in 2015.

The Tivoli Free Library provides quality programs and materials to the people of Tivoli and surrounding communities. Situated in the historic Watts dePeyster Fireman’s Hall at 86 Broadway, in the heart of the village, the library is just west of the shops and restaurants. The building is also home to the Village offices and court.
