Drawdown Book Discussion @Elmendorph Inn

March 13, 2019

Join us 6 - 7 PM, Wednesday, March 13th, at the Elmendorph Inn for "New York Reads: Drawdown," a discussion of climate change challenges and solutions (doors open at 5:30 PM).

Discussion will be prompted by 100 top climate change solutions outlined in Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming. Grab a copy from our mantel, or order your copy through the library today!

Don't have time to read the whole book? No problem! Participants need not have read the whole book beforehand in order to join in the dialogue. Flip through and find your favorite solution or just share what you know!

New York Reads: Drawdown is a statewide library effort to bring people together to discuss climate change and the 100 most effective ways to ameliorate its effects. The book, authored by Paul Hawken, offers focused actions that make a real difference.

Sponsored by Red Hook Public Library along with the Red Hook Town Conservation Advisory Council, Bard Office of Sustainability, Bard Center for Environmental Policy and Bard Center for Civic Engagement.

Free and open to the public. The Elmendorph Inn is located at 7562 N. Broadway in Red Hook.
