Writer Jono Naito aims to create a challenging, but nonjudgmental environment in which writers can improve their work. Over the course of four weeks, the group will examine the elements of short fiction, conduct exercises, and write and revise their own prose. By the end of the workshop, writers will each have written a full piece of short fiction that has undergone several revisions, as well as a critical reflection on the style of a current literary journal.
