–
August 17, 2021
Did you know bird migration patterns are shifting with climate change? Birds of a feather, let's build motion-activated cameras to collect data about who's using bird feeders in the Hudson Valley. Participants will build, configure, and program a Raspberry Pi and camera module to make a BirdCam unit they can keep or install in a park. The project is an interactive and fun way to learn & practice basic computer programming, work with Open Source hardware & software. Red Hook resident Enrique Piraces & his daughters Maya, Luna & Julieta will be leading the program.
For Ages 11-14. Programs take place at St. Margaret's (7260 S. Broadway, RH).
