Learn how to give Narcan. Save a life. You can save a life by knowing how to respond when you suspect an opioid overdose.

Led by staff from the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health, this in-person training will teach you:
* why naloxone (Narcan) works to reverse an opioid overdose
* what to do when an opioid overdose is suspected
* how and when to give someone Narcan

This event will take place at the Red Hook Village Hall (7467 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). Each trainee from Dutchess County will be eligible to receive a free Narcan kit post-training. Register by emailing Renee: adultservices@redhooklibrary.org
