Teen TakeoverTeen Takeover – A teen-directed program, Teen Takeover offers gaming, movies, and activities on all three floors of the library. Hang out and enjoy the free snacks made by other teens. Study Time (3rd Floor Community Room)Study Time (3rd Floor Community Room) – Need a quieter place to study or a change of location? Use our 3rd floor Community Room for studying or working on Tuesdays (10am-12pm) and Thursdays (12pm-2pm). We also have laptops and Chromebooks available. No sign up necessary. Masks are currently required at our indoor spaces. Petit Picasso Outside!Petit Picasso Outside! – Meet Amy in the library's Children's Garden for outdoor painting time! Preschoolers, kindergarteners & any kids who want to paint with tempera paints are welcome. We use non-toxic materials and supply smocks, but it’s best to come prepared for a mess! Lego ClubLego Club – Come one, come all, to build with Legos at Red Hook Public Library! Join us for creative building on Tuesday at 4 PM. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon, whether you are looking to build with your friends, to unleash your inner architect, to relive your childhood days, or to simply try out some different Lego bricks. All ages are welcome and the program is free and open to the public with no registration required. |

Storytime with AmyStorytime with Amy – Amy’s Storytime will be inside the Children’s Library on Wednesdays. We share stories, sing and have fun. Libratory 1 (Ages 6-10)Libratory 1 (Ages 6-10) – STEM activities for youth ages 6-10. This month we will meet in the tween room (children's floor). We cover subjects in chemistry, biology, physics, and more. Registration required. Email Amy@redhooklibrary.org to register, and for more information. All Abilities Teens CrafternoonAll Abilities Teens Crafternoon – Weekly craft projects with Amy for youth who have intellectual, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. ESL (English as a Second Language) Class for AdultsESL (English as a Second Language) Class for Adults – ESL Classes at the Red Hook Public Library with Mr. Haslem. Open to Adults at any level of English; Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. The instructor for the class speaks Spanish. But he can also work with students who speak other languages. All Abilities AdultsAll Abilities Adults – All Abilities Adults is an hour of social fun in the Community Room for adults with intellectual, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. Our activities range from seasonal crafting to scientific experiments, but friendship and community are constant. In person program, limited spots available, registration required.
