Major repairs fall of 2014 at which time it was discovered that some unusual “T” joints were impeding flow and also that the roof gutters were draining into the septic lines. An excavation was necessary to expose waste lines and reconfigure the waste and gutter drainage lines properly. Gutter lines diverted to daylight. Risers placed on existing tank for future access without excavation. At this time an odor emanating from the basement bathroom drain was addressed with a plug.   In April of 2015 the sump pump under the elevator was accessed. A Zoeller sump pump and piping valve, etc… was installed to tie in discharge of pump out through downspout discharge underneath concrete footpath behind building.   Lines dug across parking lot north-south for Village sewer 4/2022  Septic system is closed. 
HVAC – main floor 2016-2022 Most ductwork was laid by MPower in 2016 with Community Room renovation project. At that time an air handler was placed in the attic, but the cooling until for outside was not purchased.  Ducts finished (brought from attic to the teen room and hooked up to existing duct work. Return finished. Cooling unit purchased and installed. Achieved with Dutchess County APG Infrastructure grant. Plumbing   Burst pipe behind children’s nook due to freezing, and mold remediation –  pipe replaced, walls and floor removed, mold removed. Utica National Insurance covered all but $500. New dehumidifier added in tween room closet and set to 45%. Electric                Main Floor  Old section   Some outlets have been retrofitted to be 3-prong but date is unknown.   Lighting is inadequate, especially in teen room.  Electrician checked all building outlets and replaced remaining two prong outlets in center 3rd floor office.   Wet wall detected in Tween Room. Currently investigating source. Possibly wetness in ground in outside closet under porch or damaged, split, window sills outside window.   No increase in moisture, monitoring. 4/2022     4/2026

3nd floor west room   Inadequate lighting. Closet walls and ceiling are crumbling. Floor beams may need to be sistered before books moved in and room used for public. Carpet must be removed. Electric is inadequate and 2-pronged. The front room on the 2nd floor is currently needed for staff work, everyday storage of office supplies, records, and program materials.  Update: 3-pronged outlets added 1/2019. But no replacement of wires inside walls was done.   
Assistant Director Office There is no heat or A/C. Inadequate lighting. Carpet to be removed.     
3rd floor Bathroom  Tub to be removed, fixtures updated. Possible utility sink, shelves.  Update: new toilet 3/2019 following leak into main floor mystery section. Ceiling fixed with access panel.   
Main Floor Front room, foyer, teen room A/C, floors, lighting, rearranging of furniture, increased storage, SAM computers need more privacy and space. Middle room needs painting.    
Teen room Updated and repainted. Inadequate electric outlets. 2024 Plexiglass installed over lower alcove windows 1/2019 for safety after several panes broke.

FLOOR REPLACMENT As needed Replace wood floors throughout, were advised that at least first floor is end of life and cannot just be sanded and refinished again.
