Kids’ Gaming Lounge (Ages 10+)

April 24, 2018

Beginning this April, on April 10th and weekly thereafter kids ages 10 and up are invited to join us at Red Hook Public Library to relax after school in our downstairs Kids’ Gaming Lounge. Located on the Library’s first floor in the “tween room,” laptops, video games, a TV, and snacks will be set up from 3:30 to 4:30pm every Tuesday. Students are invited to take the bus from Mill Road Elementary directly to the Library after-school.

Due to limited bus space, advanced registration is required for this program. Call the library at 845-758-3241 to register your child. At sign-up, in order to receive bus route information and ensure sufficient bus space, please let us know if your child plans to take the bus or will be dropped off.

In April, we plan to kick-off the fun with Wii games, Atari, and SEGA Genesis with favorites such as Mario Kart, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Wii Sports. Suggestions from participants are always welcome and will be taken into consideration for the themes of future months. Like all library programs, the Kids’ Gaming Lounge is free.
