Climate Change Project

August 20, 2015

Red Hook Public Library is pleased to welcome Clea Schumer, fresh from her attendance at a 3-day conference in Toronto with climate activist and Nobel Laureate, Al Gore. Clea, a senior at Red Hook High School, was accepted for the Climate Reality Leadership Corps training that took place there in July. She learned the latest from world-class scientists and specialists not only about the causes and implications of climate change, but about constructive solutions. Her mission now is to share that information, motivating others to join her in implementing positive change. Clea will be conducting several events in our community and is also working with the Bard College Office of Sustainability. All are invited to this special presentation at the library. There will be ample time for questions and discussion.

This event is free and open to the public but the library asks that you call to register as space is limited.
