Join us at the library for this special event put together by RHPL and Bard College. It's all about Indian Culture with an emphasis on the ancient festival of lights, Diwali. This traditional holiday honors the triumph of light over darkness and is a time of family feasting and gift-giving.

There will be tons of events including traditional dancing, a telling of the history of Diwali, making candle holders called diyas, a table featuring games, the creation of a rangoli, a station for saris, and many others!
