This fun program is designed by DCSPCA to teach young children about safe and responsible handling of dogs. Children will learn how to meet a dog safely courtesy of Jackson, the non-allergenic Golden Doodle therapy dog.  They will also learn what is involved in owning a dog as a pet: Proper food, Attention, Water, and Shelter.  The program is most suitable for children ages 4 and up. It is free and open to the public but please call to register so that we may anticipate number of participants.
