At 6 PM on Tuesday July 18th Red Hook Public Library is sponsoring a free screening of “Space Cowboys” in Community Building 17 at Red Hook Commons apartments. All are welcome.

When a Russian satellite guidance system malfunctions, and a catastrophic crash is expected within a matter of weeks, four ex-top air force pilots Frank Corvin (Clint Eastwood), Hawk Hawkins (Tommy Lee Jones), Jerry O'Neill (Donald Sutherland), and Tank Sullivan (James Garner) get one last chance to be heroes and save the planet. With tense performances from Eastwood and Jones, and a slew of exciting special effects, this year 2000 movie is worth another look. The film is rated PG.
