Celebrate Herstory! In honor of Women's History Month Red Hook Public Library and Taste Budds Cafe will host women authors at 7 pm on Friday, March 24th at Taste Budd’s Cafe in Red Hook. A talented lineup of women writers will read from their work or the work of other women. This is the second annual Women’s History Story Slam, a collaboration between Red Hook Public Library and Taste Budds Café. Readings will encompass a wide variety of subjects and genres of interest to all listeners such as fiction, essays, and poetry. Story Slam at Taste Budds Café features writers, poets and storytellers from the Hudson Valley and beyond. Taste Budds Cafe is located at 40 W. Market Street in Red Hook. Parking is available.
